I started with MLV from behind the seats (wall) and all the way to up the tail light panel. I double layered the MLV and then put foam on top in most areas where it would fit behind the interior panels. 1/2 inch seemed to be good everywhere. I used 1.5" for under the trunk carpet (raised the floor a bit but worked awesome. The MLV is heavy but the foam is super light. Some of the foam has adhesive backing and some does not. No need for adhesive under the carpet but i did use adhesive for foam under the tail light panels and the wall behind the seats. Also, get some "rats nest" material and shove it in all of the deep pits, holes and crevices. Your noise level should drop way down. I think in total i added about 40-50 lbs, but im willing to add weight for a quieter ride. Good luck! Email me if you have specific questions.
